Outside of a few of you I've told already, when last heard from me grandpappy was at death's door. They took the breathing tube out.. whereupon his vitals stabilized and he started breathing better.

By this time tomorrow night, he'll even be out of the ICU!

(So okay, he was actually German/Polish on either side of his family. But his heart was in Ireland, and that's good enough for me.)
