They're not even pretending anymore, are they?

Bob Harris over in [livejournal.com profile] modrnwrld_blog reports that Faux News interrupted Jimmy Carter's "We cannot lead if our leaders mislead" speech to cut to Sean Hannity talking with William Bennett about the subject of morality just as President Carter was getting to the part about how the Bush administration's amorality has shattered American credibility abroad.

Convenient timing, innit?

Now you watch - if there's so much as a split second cutaway during the Neo-Con convention (again, I refuse to call those slimy bastards Republicans), for any reason whatsoever, the Far Reich and their puppets will be crying foul. *snort*

I actually prefer cynical, hostile coverage. That's why I'm watching Fox News Channel's coverage of the Democans, and I'll be watching CNN's coverage of the Republicrats.

You know, you might just have a point. Put your hat on and nobody will notice. *badumpCHING*

If I didn't have a funny-shaped head, I'd have shaved off my graying, thinning hair a long time ago. :-)
