Oh dear.

My stepmother Holly just called to inform me my father is in Audobon Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky right now having a double bypass. Apparently, the prognosis is excellent and he should be out of surgery and doing just spiffy.

So pardon me while I go have a meltdown until I hear he's out of the woods.

An update on my pappy

Ended up being a *triple* bypass, but he came through with flying colors. He's going to spend a couple days in critical, then down to cardiac and he should be able to go home next week.

Yeah, he's my dad, alright.

He came out from under the anasthesia quite quickly, and proceeded to give the poor nurse who had apparently said him nay (and the following is a direct quote from my brother) "an extremely impolite suggestion as to what she could do with her nurse's cap, he was going to get unhooked and he was going to shave."
