Atrios points up one of my new heros, Richard Holbrooke.

Be sure to read the comments section of that particular post, but just in case, here's one positively beautiful section:

I saw Holbrooke several times last night and he was excellent. On hardball, he was on after evil comb-over man Perle, and tweety made the comment "too bad we couldn't get you guys on together". Holbrooke interrupted and said "let me be clear to your viewers, I told your producers that I was more than willing to come on and debate Richard Perle". Tweety was forced to admit that Perle was unwilling.

It seems like folks are starting to get the idea that the only way to take on The Far Reich and their ilk is to meet them head on and not back down.

Darth Perle is a coward, and he got pimpslapped like the little bitch he is.
I have taken a lot of folks thoughts into consideration and trust me, I will reply to them each in turn. It's just been crazy busy around here, but the gist is this: I'm going to keep Radio N exactly as it is, but work to get Radio Free Callahans its own dedicated server to be more along the lines of what I was talking about.

Pern, I would love to get in touch with The Spider Man about using the Callahan's name, or Radio Harmony, whichever. I don't know where to send the email so that he'd get it. My heart would be in my throat if he actually replied. Yes, I'm a fanboygeek. Side note: I would love to have your good self do a show. The sort of show you're talking about, it would be best if it were "canned" (aka pre-recorded), but we'll talk about that later. Sunday's shaping as our talk night, as you'll see.

Coming soon to Radio Nosferatu Sunday Nights.. one of the most incredibly warped blocks of talk/weird radio you've ever heard. Ghu help you all. *insert evil cackle here*
Tim Dunlop has this embarrassing nugget from an interview on Egyptian TV for ol' Colon.. I mean Colin:

SECRETARY POWELL: Well, one, we didn't put together just the coalition of the willing. A coalition is always a coalition of the willing. And this particular coalition of the willing now has 47 nations; 47 nations are openly members of the coalition, and have asked to be identified with this effort. And there are many other nations that for a variety of reasons don't want to be publicly identified, but are also a part of the coalition of the willing.

This, folks, is the same Colin Powell who just said on FOX News Sunday that if Kerry won't name names he should (and I quote) "find something else to talk about".

Does the phrase "hypocritical sonofabitch" mean anything to you, Colon?
