Radio N should be back on by tomorrow night. Somebody want to remind why I/we do this, again?
Here's the setup: our dining room ceiling leaks. I hear horrid storm going on so I decide at two in the morning I'm going to patch me them durn leaks.

Hm. That tube of caulking is dry. Let me just take off the top of this new tube and Repeat Topic Line Here, saying goodbye to the skin on the middle knuckle on my left index finger.

I've spent the past twenty minutes getting it to stop bleeding enough that I could even put on a bandage.

[livejournal.com profile] sailorjim, this Dummy Dance is for you.

PS: Plugged the leaks, though. So ha.

Quite.

"Truth and trust are the means by which civiliazation holds off barbarism. When those in power intend to abuse that power, they look to an outside enemy in order to trick their people into pressing the means to their own abuse into the hands of the abusers. If an enemy does not exist, it will be manufactured, and all manner of horrors attributed to it, so that anyone who demands truth and accountability is set upon as being unpatriotic."
