Radio Nose Ferret Friday Night - Viva de la Santo night underway

The tunes are rolling, the nachos are freshly made and we are underway.

EDIT: The main event for the evening will be Mystery Science Theater 3000 "Samson vs. The Vampire Women". That'll begin at midnight eastern.

Dialup, I'd go with the Low feed. DSL and above, I'd try the high feed first.

You can also use RealPlayer 7 and above, as well as (as far as I know) Windows Media Player 9. As far as WMP goes, I haven't tried it with any of the earlier releases.

The absolute best way to listen in, at least for me, is to find whatever command your player uses for Add URL or Open URL, something like that.

With Winamp, it's Ctrl-L and you cut/paste one of the two addies in, hit open to exit the URL window, and hit play. You should be good to go from there.

If you want to make requests, go to http://rhis.2ya.com and off on the left hand side of the screen is a link to PlayList & Requests. Go there, click on the style of music you want, click on the Request link by the song you want and hey presto.

http://rhis.2ya.com for reqs

My mic is actually cooperating tonight (so far) and so I need to remind folks that sometimes the plugin I use to talk over tunes makes my machine hork and I have to reboot. If that happens, I'll be back as quickly as I can and I'll post in here when I'm back.

VIVA LE MCD.. oops.. I mean, Viva De La Santooooooooo!

Radio Nose Ferret Friday Night - Viva de la Santo night update

MST3K is on hold until tomorrow night as I've got exactly two people listening. Suits me fine and it gives me more time to prepare.

EDIT: Change that to we'll see where things stand as far as listeners come main event time, midnight eastern.
