Why, you might ask? See, it's because those feelthy liberal traitorous scrum voted against military recruiting in public schools. The whole story is here, but here's the relevant portion of Brutha Bill's rant:

“If Al Qaeda comes in here and blows you up, we're not going to do anything about it,” he continued. “We're going to say, ‘look, every other place in America is off limits to you, except San Francisco. You want to blow up the Coit Tower? Go ahead."
Specifically, attention those who are familiar with Linksys wireless routers.

What I need to know is about port forwarding I guess is what it's called. I would like to point port 1221 (for the SAM software that takes the requests when my show is live) to another machine on the wireless network instead of this one I'm on at the moment.

How do I do this?
BIG IMPORTANT NOTE: I will NOT be on the main Radio Nosferatu feed like the past few weeks tonight, folks. There's a listener on there who's requesting their little heads off and I hate to interrupt that for hours on end with my show and discourage them so I'll be back on MiB's low speed server instead for the dialup folk. The addy is at the bottom of the post and in the channel topic on IRC.

It's 80's, Gothic and Rocky Horror Internet Show favorites weekend on the show. I do believe you'll enjoy the mayhem, folks.

Now, requests will be taken tonight but on a case by case basis instead of pretty much automatically entered into the queue like always. But feel free to make them - and make them anatomically feasible, eh?

Get listenin', join us on Undernet IRC (which is being splitty tonight and I'm on Montreal.Qc.Ca.Undernet.org for those as want to know) in #rf-callahans abdd/or AIM or Yahoo IM (I'm on as docwebstr on both), and let's get this mayhem underway. Note: #RadioNosferatu on Undernet IRC is having fits so don't bother joining that channel until I give word all is clear.

Oh yes - for those on Yahoo IM who have those new emoticons that come with their own audio track, *do not use them when msg'ing me as the sound goes out over the stream*.

The best thing to use to listen to the stream is Winamp, of course, and you can find the version I myself use here.

NOTE: Just right click and Save As, then run it to install.

From there, it depends on what kind of connect speed you have:

Dialup, I'd go with the Low feed. DSL and above, I'd try the high feed first.

You can also use RealPlayer 7 and above, as well as (as far as I know) Windows Media Player 9. As far as WMP goes, I haven't tried it with any of the earlier releases.

The absolute best way to listen in, at least for me, is to find whatever command your player uses for Add URL or Open URL, something like that.

With Winamp, it's Ctrl-L and you cut/paste one of the two addies in, hit open to exit the URL window, and hit play. You should be good to go from there.

If you want to make requests, go to http://rhis.2ya.com and off on the left hand side of the screen is a link to PlayList & Requests. Go there, click on the style of music you want, click on the Request link by the song you want and hey presto.

Anyway, let's do this thing.

high

http://rhis.2ya.com for reqs
I need to reiterate, I am not on the Radio Nosferatu main feed, tonight. For the dialup folks, I am instead on http://callahans.seanmcpherson.com:10000/listen.pls .
