Meet the (impending) new fuzzbutt!

Quoting from her bio on the Second Chance Columbia website and the email from her pet human, "Dot is a beautiful, petite, gray and white kitty. She has a real sassy, affectionate personality ~ quite a little character. This little lady is a nice balance of a cat that is playful and active, with one that likes to snuggle and find just the right kitty-spot to snooze in. She loves to explore and is talkative, especially if she is in a new situation or when she's glad to see you! The rest of the time she'd be happy to answer you if you want a conversation but she is quieter. She tolerates the dogs and other cats in her foster home but doesn't really want to be close friends with them. Her main wish is to have a person or family to love. Everybody knows that the best of things come in small packages!!

Dot is the kind of kitty who will be a loving companion but also make you laugh at times. She is very sweet, slightly sassy and has a lot of personality. She is one of the smartest cats we've had and within a day of coming to our home, she had discovered and tried snoozing in all of the prime kitty spots-- ones the others had taken much longer to discover. She's an alert kitty who notices when you when you walk in a room and greets you with a meow. She usually starts purring the minute you pet her. Comically, she shows her emotions with enthusiasm, whether it's purring and chirping to you as you pet her, or stretching out upside down on the bed in kitty bliss, or asking for reassurance in a new situation. She regularly makes us laugh. You can probably tell from her photo that she's really pretty, and she's very sweet as well. Loves people. She enjoys lying on laps but doesn't demand that. If she's nervous in a new situation she seems to seek reassurance from us but otherwise is a relaxed companion who hangs out with the family.

In our home we have two adult cats, one bouncy adolescent kitten, and two dogs. And two kids. A busy house! Dot is great with the family. She accepts the other cats fine but doesn't want a close friendship with them. She was a bit hissy to them for the first few days but they all quickly figured out who was who after that-- and now they sleep on the same couch at times, with a little space between them. She's fine with my dogs too-- a bit cautious and tells them to back off sometimes and actually that approach works well with them.

Dot has been in Second Chance for almost two years! She's had a lot of people who liked her and ALMOST adopted her but ended up selecting another. She's a cat who really loves having a family though, and we're very much wanting to help her find a home."

*happydance* She looks and acts like Samantha, even! That'll help Ruby and Mozart acclimate to her no end.
