Station noodling

A whole lot of change has happened and is going to be happening to the station. We've tried all goth, we've tried goth/industrial, we've tried psychobilly etc. and none of it's worked because, well, we goffs are in general a bunch of broke motherfsckers who nobody wants to advertise to. The few that do are already taken up with the big stations and established audiences.

So.

I'm considering re-branding the station to be a kind of.. I dunno, you've heard these stations like Jack FM and Mike FM - satellite stations that have no smegging format whatsoever and play whatever they damn well please. I've been doing that for years and I'm thinking it's time to show these amateurs how it's done.

What I want are DJs and programs, podcasts that would like to be aired (big shoutout to the National Cynical Network, praise Bob!), bands that want to get played.. have 'em hit me up.

Attention

I will be celebrating Christmas. It's not that I'm insensitive to the various pagan holidays it ripped off and or supplanted, it's just that I don't particularly give a shit except in a visceral, historical fascination sort of way because there's nothing I can do about it. It's what I grew up with and what I will likely carry to my final exit so I'm damn well hanging onto it and the memories.

I have next to no clothes that don't have holes in them. I have to find a telecommuting job because of this, as I do not have anything remotely approaching a work wardrobe. I sleep on a mattress on the floor, no boxsprings, no bedframe. I have one table. It currently houses my computer equipment and DJing mixer. I have two chairs and a love seat that serves as my computer "chair". I also have food in three things: the fridge, the cabinets and me so that's in the plus column. The kittehs are fed as well, so this is a goodness. Worse, I have no Irish Cream. Shock. Horror.

But I have a roof over my head to call my very own. This year started off shitful with Samanthakitty passing away and didn't really get better until we moved into these townhomes. But with all you smerrrheeeeees and the fuzzy population of the household I might just make this.
