As a member of the Republican powerless, I'm sickened by the whole thing myself. The more atrocities I read about, the more it feels like my party has given up on democracy all together. At this point, the story you've linked doesn't even reach my outrage threshhold. Tens of thousands of people have been targetted for disenfranchisement this year.

I would like to see a vote given the same value as, say a car. Steal one, get a minimum of a year in jail. Pull shit like Catherine Harris did or her successor is trying to do again, we put you in an oubliette and throw away the key.

Supposedly, the Kerry/Edwards team has 10,000 lawyers ready to be mobilized to deal with voting irregularlities around the country. I hope it's enough.
