Heh. There's a candy that's popular with the kids here in Tucson. It's basically dried tamarind pulp. Comes in a plastic wrapper. Isn't too bad, either... kind of tangy.

Glad that kid in LA didn't bring tamarindo to school. These asshats would probably have thought it looked too much like Mexican Brown heroin.
