This is irrelevant to this particular post; hope you don't mind my dropping it here. (Though happy almost-birthday, long as I'm on this thread!)

We were listening to a misc CD on the way into work and school this morning, and the Finnish cast recording of "Sword of Damocles" that you sent me came on. My wife laurellady had heard it before, but she was freshly amazed by its throbbing wonderful weirdness. And she remarked "I never thought I'd say this to anyone, but your friends are much stranger than mine."
