if it's lethal injection, there is some evidence that the drug that relaxes the muscles lasts far longer than the drug that is meant to make the asphyxiation caused by the final dose unnoticable and painless: ie. a person dying of lethal injection can be in a metric fuckton of pain and terror without anyone on the outside knowing it.

that being said, I'm against the death penalty, period.
