Actually it isn't that surprising. Hate crimes like this happen all over the world. That's why I'm always extra protective of my TS friends. I give them the same advice I would to women. Don't go off with strangers, always stay in populated areas, stay in well lit areas..etc etc etc.

Alot of people just don't understand and sometimes some 'snap'. Marines...not surprisingly.
