Every time I become convinced that freakish bitch Ann Coulter has completely lost it

"She" proves me wrong:

"the savages have declared war, and it's far preferable to fight them in the streets of Baghdad than in the streets of New York (where the residents would immediately surrender)."

So, New Yorkers, what do you think of that happy horseshit?

by which I mean to say, weapons with which a person may defend themselves are rediculously hard to acquire in NYC. trust me. I'm a gun collector, and thanks to NYC's draconian laws, it'd be nearly impossible for me to move there. it would take me well over a year and over a 1000 dollars to register my (very) modest collection. though I suppose there are plenty of non-law abiding citizens who might have arms to defend themselves against a land-based attack on that fine city, the average law-abiding citizen is completely disarmed, unless they have both a lot of cash and a whole lot of time on their hands to devote to buying a simple handgun or rifle(which of course can't hold more than five rounds). same goes for LA, Washington DC, Chicago. if the shit ever comes this way, good luck, friends. surrender, run, or you're fucked.

this comment is in no way an endorsment of Ann Coulter, merely an acknowledgment that she may have a valid point in this instance.
