This comes as no surpise at all. Throughout this disaster jobsworth bureacrats have hampered relief efforts. The Mirror reports the FDA has blocked food aid coming from Britain because the NATO rations contained meat!
If it weren't for infighting between the various factions I bet relief would have arrived sooner. The delay was probably due to the various govt. bodies arguing who had responsibility and more importantly who would foot the bill!
Why the hell couldn't they let someone else do the paperwork and let the doctors continue with their jobs - saving lives!
