Radio Nosferatu : State Of The Nose Ferret

In short, it's not overly bad, but I'm getting bone weary of spinning our/my wheels after three plus years. God bless Gothic/Industrial internet radio, but the plain and simple fact of the matter is that the gothic/industrial internet radio field is already packed to the gills with stations who have very, very loyal audiences who just aren't going to switch or even add a station. Besides, I've never really been comfortable in following in the already well trodden path, so I'm considering not so much a format change as a format addition. What in the world do I mean by that? Press on, fair reader, and you shall learn.

Our live DJs shows are hands down more popular than 24/7 gothic and they play a pretty diverse range of music to put it mildly. What I propose to do is vary the playlist by adding in world music, classic rock, just plain cool music all around. Our most popular days were in the old days when I had a fairly varied range of music, comedy and Subgenius weirdness to dig on, anyway.

Make absolutely no mistake about it, folks, gothic and industrial will still be heavily represented in the playlist. It's just that 100 percent gothic and industrial simply isn't working. In the end, it's up to you the listener though. What do you think - vary the playlist and appeal to a funkier, wider range of listeners or stick with the current format and hope for the best?

Let me know, folks. I'm counting on you for your opinions. I want to make the station something all of you want to listen to and enjoy listening to.

I miss talking to you on weekends so much I'm not even going to lay some hideous sounding but affectionate insult on you like usual. How the heck are you, woman?

actually, change that. I'm GREAT. In case you've missed it, this week alone, I got a reply from some weird British guy named Richard, AND I met Mr. Neil Gaiman. Oh, god...yes. Boners abounded this week.
