As much as his conviction would be a beautiful thing, being booked means nothing and is realy not much of a step towards conviction.

A judge could and very likely will dismiss the charges.

Trial could end in acquittal.

Either option would be a finger in the face to justice but hey,its Texas and he's a Republican.

I sincerly hope he gets Judge Perkins as his trial judge too...

"Perkins believes that if God was charged with a felony, he would have to go through the booking process, too," said D'Ann Underwood, court coordinator for the judge.

Something tells me that if that were the case, being a Republican wouldn't cut much ice in that courtroom...
