Yeah, I read the whole thing thinking "this is a parody of an Archie strip, right?" Hilarious.

I do have to amend one point, though -- out of curiosity I just went looking, and found, to my great surprise, a new "Sonic" game -- more specifically, Shadow the Hedgehog, who I guess has guns 'n' stuff, from the look of things. Sigh. Oh, the simple days of running and collecting rings....

... Maybe they should do Sauron the Hedgehog.
