Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yada freakin' yada.

Okay. You hate Christmas. We get the idea. Now would you kindly shut the fuck up and quit pissing on my parade, already? Geez. Take an Ex-Lax. From the sound of things, it'll improve your fucking mood.

Before anybody asks, NO this isn't directed at any one person. But I weary of nimrods who live by "misery is company" and insist on dragging down the moods of folks like me who DO enjoy the season.

So, in review, clam the hell up or so help me Ghu I am going to rip your throat out and bugger you to death with the tonsil end.

Well, despite the fact that it's hard for me to get into the spirit after losing Dad in the spring, and despite the fact that my theology embraces a different holiday than Christmas, I love Christmas. I still (dammit!) believe in Santa Claus. I always will, and it pisses me off when people (especially my fellow Pagans) get all shitty about Christmas, and Christmas carols, and Christmas decorations.

Damn ye all, I'm celebrating!!!

*grin* I think for me it was because I was raised in a house that did NOT celebrate it as a religious holiday, I was able to have more perspective about it. Then, when I got older I started looking at the three religious celebrations this time of year - Hannukah, Solstice, Christmas. Each in their own way are celebrating light, life, love, togetherness, family... all things that make us special and happy. Therefore I love all three, and honor each as I'm able... the season is for celebrating!
