Ranada left work early - majorly hideous monthly pains - and got home about twenty minutes after five. We have just spent the past forty five minutes talking and while we are not back together, things have sure taken a ninety degree turn. I'll explain more later, but things are very definitely looking up.

Well, more like we came to an understanding. I may end up still leaving and we're not together together, but things are not on the same depressive level for both of us. Does that make any sense?

Yeah, it does. It's not like any of us (at least nobody I know) has a magic reset button that just makes everything right. Any combination of people with their own unique emotional makeup and personal issues is going to make for a lot of twists and turns along the way to resolution. But it sounds like you've found a safe place you can work from, and I'm glad to hear that.
