One of Bush's lapdogs gets beaten in Connecticut and instead of press attention being on that, all of a sudden "Oo, look! Turrist plot over here! See?"

where's the news flash? Everytime the president or his staff get some unwanted attention suddenly we are distracted by a new terrorist threat. Bill Maher commented when Chaney shot that guy in the face and all the media attention was on him that there would have to be some new terrorist threat soon to take the media scrutiny off of Chaney...and low and behold the next day we captured some or other terrorist and it was now the news of the day.

I guess the war with Isreal and Helzahwhatsit just wasn't a big enough distraction.
