The US administration are quite loudly saying that a statistical survey in Iraq by John Hopkins University that estimated the death toll of civillians to be over 600,000 or just over 2% of the pre invasion population is very in correct.

Well of course they're trying to cover their own asses, and playing the Blame Game by saying, "well, we didn't do X, Y, or Z ... unlike others"
