Yeah, he's my dad, alright.

He came out from under the anasthesia quite quickly, and proceeded to give the poor nurse who had apparently said him nay (and the following is a direct quote from my brother) "an extremely impolite suggestion as to what she could do with her nurse's cap, he was going to get unhooked and he was going to shave."

Well, obviously he didn't get unhooked. But they compromised and at least he got to sit up in bed and shave.

Well, other than a quick trip back in last night to control some bleeding around his sternum, he's doing just fine.
