So much for that

We went out to meet Dot - and Dot made it very clear she was quite happy exactly where she was and wants no part of coming home with us. Those are her people and that's that. Well, back to the feline drawing board.

I'm sorry.

I insisted on meeting my previous rescue-cat (in icon) to see if he'd like me. When his previous owner handed him to me, he immediately snuggled against my shoulder and head-butted my chin. She (pervious owner) looked astonished and said "he *never* does that" - which made me sure he wanted to go home with me.

Annie (current feline) was more aloof, but there was less choice involved for her, poor kitty (it was me or the shelter).

The right cat will come along, and you'll know it and be owned.

Good luck, Doc. I'm sorry I didn't get to tell you how sorry I am about Samantha before--I sent you good thoughts and prayers, but of course, you couldn't know. And then my own boy had to be put to sleep last Monday. I know how you feel. *hugs*
