Forry actually affected my life directly. At one of my first cons I attended a panel about horror in sci-fi and he was there. It was about five minutes before it was to start and he saw me walk in and choose a front row seat. He came over and with classic Forry charm said "What's a girl like you doing at a panel like this?" I was totally charmed and chatted with him until all the other panelists took their seats. He had no idea, but he had made what was a new and potentially uncomfortable experience into a great memory.
