But with Who there's no ATTEMPT to have a consistent canon, so I've heard less fanwankery there. Not that there ISN'T any, of course there is, but unlike Trek, Who is a show that started out as a children's entertainment program and has kept the basic burden -- and the basic ADVANTAGE -- of that start all the way through the present day. So it still gets to use Saturday Morning Adventure Cartoon logic any time it wants to.

I live my life on Saturday Morning Adventure Cartoon Logic, probably why Doctor Who is my favorite SF series. :)
