Install question

I have a media center pc with Vista on it, which gives me hives. Is it possible to put straight XP Pro on it or do I have to get some kind of media center edition?

If Vista's on it now, you can put XP Pro on it. And it'll probably be happier.

You might have to hunt up some drivers, particularly hardware audio drivers.
