You can't go home again.
I saw a picture of the old place earlier and it damn near killed me.
I misremember where I heard the quote, but I once heard it said that home isn't where you were born, it's where you want to die. That was where. Even with everything bad that happened there, that place was still home. For the very first time in my whole life, I had roots.
