The Flaming Lips do Dark Side Of The Moon
I should say The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and The White Dwarfs do Dark Side Of The Moon (and Peaches.. and Henry Rollins..).

As a pro wrestling idol of mine once put it, "This album wasn't released, it escaped". Great jumping fuckweasels was this bad. I give them credit for.. attacking this album with undeniable elan and it's readily apparent they had the time of their lives doing this. But jumping Jesus on a pogo stick it sounds like every shitty Pink Floyd cover band in the universe got together in one place and jerked off with their instruments hoping it would sound vaguely like Dark Side Of The Moon. We won't even get into Peaches' attempt at Clare Torry's legendary vocal solo on Great Gig In The Sky that sounds like the Taco Bell chihuahua being anally ravished with a caber and enjoying it.
This is the Plan 9 From Outer Space of DSotM covers - joyously awful, terminally shitty and that as much as anything is why I'm keeping my copy.
