Oh, that's flippin' fantastic! Love it love it love it.

I settled the explanation in my head years ago. "Yes, indeed, wrestling has a predetermined outcome, and they know more-or-less how they're going to get there. Wrestling is fake.

"NO IT'S NOT.

"Wrestling is fixed.

"So's Shakespeare. Unless you've got that Version Zero folio edition where Romeo and Juliet elope to Paris and have six kids or somethin'.

"Wrestling is very physical theater, with some improvisation allowed. Nothing more, nothing less. It's a bunch of guys pretending to be in a more vicious sport than they actually are, which is why it works best the more they focus on the sports aspect rather than the goofy stuff."
