That last rant was directed at those of our citizenry who seem to think that just because they themselves are incapable of liking Christmas, they are duty bound to sneer at those of us who do as though they are better than us.

I'm frankly surprised you had to elaborate on that - it seemed pretty clear to me. However I do notice that people often tend to only read what they want to see or think they're seeing rather than what's actually there...
