It's kinda like looking at the last of the dinosaurs roaring out it's defiance to the wall of dust and fire approaching it...

And yeah, he is an idiot. The problem is, they all think like that to some extent. That America is the center and sum total of the Universe, and if somewhere isn't part of American culture then it should be.
