This is a bit of a primer for those sad folk who have never listened to one of my shows. The Reader's Digest version of it is: "Format? What format?"
On a more expanded note, I can be counted on to play just about anything: goth, classic rock, 80s (wh00t!), blues, classical, even something so bizarre as Japanese superhero tv themes. Of course, requests are always taken. IMPORTANT NOTE: when I myself am on the air, you do not go to the Radio Nosferatu request page to make the requests. You go to my own personal request page(s). In short: if you don't like what's being played, go to the request lists and make the effort to make a request so something you like will get played. Of course, requests are first come, first served.
Also of note: due to occasional technical difficulties in the relaying of streams to the main Radio N machine, I can always be found on the Radio N secondary feeds, which are (when somebody is actually doing a live show) posted in the topic space of #rf-callahans and #RadioNosferatu on Undernet IRC. I will also post them here in Livejournal when the show begins. Bear in mind the secondary streams are only in use when somebody is doing a live show.
Just about any program capable of playing streaming audio these days can pick up the streams. RealAudio player 7 and up, Winamp, XMMS (for you Linux n3rds), and at least Windows Media Player 9 can. On that last, I'm not sure about earlier versions and to listen via WMP you have to do CTRL-U and manually enter the address.
At any rate, I'll be starting about 8 p.m.(ish) eastern. I would dearly love to see you all on IRC so we can gab back and forth and I'll be on AIM as well.
