Hey, I drink good beer. There are a lot of microbrews in Oregon that can be classified as good beer. At least I don't drink Foster's.

Nor do I. We export that beer to keep the good stuff down under. :)

The only people who drink Fosters in Austrakia are tourists.

For a cheap beer, Foster's is good.

Actually Foster's that's sold in the US is brewed in Canada, not Australia. Kind of like Guinness down there is usually brewed in Western Australia. That was what I usually drank when I was visiting. I'm also partial to VB and EB, although the Foster's Bitter is one of the few I can find in the US.

Only time I went for Foster's when I was down under was when in Tasmania, because the local brand (Cascade) was worse. The water in Hobart had a really sweet taste to it, which was awesome for shellfish but bad for beer.

Do they still make Dogbolter?

Sorry for rambling, but I was feeling a bit nostalgic.

The only saddest thing I've ever seen was when Grey and I were trying to make a gate time at Reagan. We left reasonably on time, but hit standstill traffic within 20 minutes. I was cursing VDOT for scheduling construction time on the weekends. Turns out, it was really an accident. We passed the accident and saw aa totally burned out tractor with trailer on the side of the road. Local radio station reported that, it was, sadly, a beer truck. So, then I got to call my airline carrier and explain why I needed to know which gate our plane would be arriving at...you get the picture.

Noooooo!

That's worse than when a trailer overturned here, spilling 21 tons of ice cream treats.
