George Bush: Miserable coward, miserable failure

To hear the mainstream press talk about it (more precisely, not talk about it), the coronation of Mad King George wasn't marked by a lot of protest.

Don't you believe it.

A report from somebody actually on the scene.

Just for posterity!

I recorded the whole thing, including the heart-warming part where thousands upon thousands of like-minded folks chanted "hey bush we know you, your daddy was a killer too!" for 15 minutes as the limos and security drove thru.
I can't tell you how warm and fuzzy that made me feel!

Rock. The. Fuck. On.

And the great thing is, they marked off a whole section for the protesters to excercise their first ammendment rights.

Yeah. God forbid Mad King George should be, you know, exposed to the sight of people protesting his "administration".

actually

I was quite surprised to see protesters even in the expensive areas. I assumed the "sanitized" areas were going to be in one place, but really they were all along the route, from start to finish. Made me weeping proud I tell ya! It looked like people were sneaking in signs and getting all close to the VIP bleachers, then unfolding them like beautiful flowers for all to see! Neon yellow "IMPEACH BUSH!" and red "NOT OUR WAR." My fav was the line of people right up next to the sidewalk with their backs to the motorcade, no george (circle slash) faces on their backs, holding large signs saying "LIAR" facing the motorcade. There was NO way in HELL dubya and his wifey didn't see that stuff. Or hear it!

forgot to mention, the ONLY place I could see any of this was on CSPAN 1 and 2.

*snort* I wish I could say I was surprised.

It was right there, dude. On the route his motorcade took.

On a side note, did you get a load of that tank disguised as a limo he was in? Jesus God, how much must that thing have weighed.

Yeah. It's the new Cadillac.

I like it, despite the fact it probably gets two gallons to the mile.

yeah. That's probably where all the "armour funding" went, rather than the shielding troops in Iraq. But honestly, don't you think Dubya needs it more? I know I'd take a shot at him if I had a chance. Rotten eggs, old lettuce, hand grenades.......
