Ya know..

I find it vastly amusing that the far right is whinging on and on and on ad nauseam about Robert Byrd being ex-Klan when their major evidence on this point is one letter written in 1947.

Keep running your mouth, people. It just makes you look like bigger jackasses, not to mention utter hypocrites (Jesse Helms or Strom Thurmond, anyone?).

Not just you, Adam, and not even specifically you. I guess I should learn not to get pissed off when I see the mouth breathers who frequent Free Republic or Matt Sludge parroting this bilge, but if you had any idea how many times I've seen that little canard in the past two days I doubt you'd believe it.

Oh, no, I believe it...

One of the reasons I hate Sean Hannity is he always uses that...

Robert "KKK" Byrd. It's tiring.

Then why did you toss it at me when I praised what Byrd had said?

[identity profile] bassbone.livejournal.com 2005-01-26 07:23 am (UTC)(link)
I don't know, honestly.

[identity profile] griffen.livejournal.com 2005-01-26 07:26 am (UTC)(link)
Could you perhaps think about why, then?

[identity profile] bassbone.livejournal.com 2005-01-26 07:28 am (UTC)(link)
I'll give it a shot.

Perhaps it was an unconsions reaction to hearing it so much.

Honestly I have no idea why I do some things sometimes..

This is said with absolutely no snark or sarcasm intended or implied:

If you don't know why you do things sometimes, perhaps you should refrain from doing them until you understand why you want to. Doing things without understanding why you are doing them is a good way to hurt, offend, irritate, annoy and alienate people who would and are otherwise your friends.
