They took him out of context, honest!

Fuck you very much, "Doctor" Dobson.

I heard about that Spongebob gay thing, and it's amusing. I see the gayness, though. There was one episode in which Spongebob and Patrick raised a baby clam, and Spongebob was in a dress with curlers, and Patrick was supposedly going out to work all the time. Spongebob got all grumpy because "she" had to stay at home raising the baby all the time. BEST EPISODE EVER!

I wanna help, dammit!

What Dobson did say, in a speech last week in Washington during an event sponsored by the Family Research Council, was that SpongeBob is one of 100 popular animated characters that may have been co-opted by an innocuous-sounding group to promote acceptance of homosexuality to children.

"I have here in my hand a list!..."

They have a "Take Action Now" button on that article that allows you to send an email to the 5 reporters who they have singled out as targets.

It would be fun to 'jack that by getting people to send positive messages to said reporters on it.

Yeah. Right.

And his "advice" on child rearing is fucked up too. My m-i-l adores him. Color me shocked.

It's astounding how seriously these right-wing asshats take themselves...

Guess what, Jimmy, you're still an ignorant whiny white boy who can't figure out that the rest of the world doesn't want to be as bigoted as you are. And that will be true no matter whether people at large recognize you as the moron you are or not.
