This weekend's shows are going to be huge. I really, really hope.

Why?

It's my infamous birthday show(s) weekends, that's why.

Yep, a week from this very Wednesday I will enter a holding pattern around the age of 39 for the rest of my natural(?) life.

So, with my beloved celebrating her *mumblemumblemumble*th birthday on Sunday, I thought it best to get absolutely steaming and party with you lunatics Friday and Saturday.

Let me make this very, very clear: I really want a lot of listeners. Lots. Think of it as a birfday present for yer favorite internet DJ.

So.

I am going to be planning Ghu's own pissup weekend of a show, so get yer selves ready.

This is irrelevant to this particular post; hope you don't mind my dropping it here. (Though happy almost-birthday, long as I'm on this thread!)

We were listening to a misc CD on the way into work and school this morning, and the Finnish cast recording of "Sword of Damocles" that you sent me came on. My wife laurellady had heard it before, but she was freshly amazed by its throbbing wonderful weirdness. And she remarked "I never thought I'd say this to anyone, but your friends are much stranger than mine."

So congratulations, and thanks for helping me to win the spousal strange-friends competition.
