I'm having a really piss poor day, so far, and now I see this

(Snagged from the wise and holy [livejournal.com profile] scottbateman)

This morning in Arizona, a young man was kicked out of one of Bush's Social Security events for wearing the wrong T-shirt (and a rather innoccuous [sp?] one, at that).

Info is here: http://www.dailykos.com/story/2005/3/21/125132/213

This was a TAXPAYER-funded event. Bush is supposed to be the president of all Americans, not just the ones who wear the right shirts.

Yes, this has happened lots of times over the past year--but it's time for us all to draw the line and protect our constitutional rights.

What you can do:

Send on email to the Arizona ACLU and ask them to sue the president on First Amendment grounds: office@acluaz.org. Tell them that while you may not be an Arizona resident, that all Americans who love the Constitution are depending on them to protect us.

Email your Congressperson and the White House, while you're at it.

Ask CNN why the President is afraid of taxpayers, while you're at it.

(And if you're minded to make some snide anti-ACLU comment or remark, save it. I'm not interested and it's besides the point with this, anyway.)

Because he's Hitler. He fears his own people because he knows the will eventually turn on him. He should let his parinoia get to him and do us all a favor and put a bullet through his brain...hopefully taking afew of his cabinet with him ... you know bullets don't slow down much when they pass through nothing but air. :P

I'm so going to be denied at the airport going in. ROFL.

I've had this topic added to the agenda at our Piker Press staff meeting tonight. This goes beyond partisanship and should be screamed from the rooftops.
