Years ago the Urbana Cat Killer killed 27 cats
after one that belonged to a disliked neighbor ran in front of his car. Many folks felt he should have had *his* limbs broken and then have been set on fire for good reason. The rumors of satanic groups and cats being used as foodstuffs circulated for months before he was caught. I think Bast will have a few choice torments for this individual.

You know, the scary part for me is that it doesn't/ shock or surpise me, as much as it upsets me. I've grown numb.

On a side issue, don't blame Missouri or Missourians. Why, just south of Liberty, in Independence, I happen to know a young couple with two kids, a dog and a cat who live in a Victorian home and are quite nice people. At least Elwood is, and he says I am, on good days.

A few years in prison and a stiff fine does indeed seem a rather small price to pay for such unthinking cruelty, and then there's the little matter of the release date when he's thrown back into society. What we need is a new kind of brain surgery to reconnect the neurons or whatever so this guy can actually *feel* something again. One can only act in such a way when one has no capacity for empathy whatsoever.

We as broadcasters make every effort to find out where this guy is, once he's released, and publish, broadcast, and forward his address to as many decent-yet-militant people we know. We have them corner this guy, take super-heated razorblades, and slowly, over the course of two or three DAYS, lacerate and burn every square millimeter of his body veeeeeeerrry slowly.
They'll also keep a crash cart and stimulants handy so we can keep him alive for as long as possible. At the end of the third day (or whenever it's obvious he can't be kept alive much longer), dip his body in a tub full of lemon juice. Then drain it out and fill it with sulfuric acid to dissolve the corpse, so there's nothing left for the family to bury.

This man will never be grieved! If I were his father, I'd pay his bail, take him out of the country, and have him fed to a cannibal tribe. At least then someone would get some benefit out of his having existed at all.

Damn! I missed M*A*S*H because of this... Now I REALLY hate him!
