The ammendment in question is explained here.

To quote morons.org it "not only makes same-sex marriages illegal, it also forbids same-sex couples from using other legal means to obtain any of the same benefits, including power of attorney and hospital visitaton. It may even prevent state employers from offering same-sex partner benefits."

First it was Fred Phelps, then the outrageously disproportionate punishment of Matthew Limon, and now this.

The above morons.org article is about a boycott. I'll leave it up to you to decide, but I find myself conflicted. I have a convention commitment in May to promote the station in Kansas City, but beyond that I just don't know.

If it does those things, it won't pass a US Constitutional "sniff test." They tried to do that in Colorado a few years back and the USSC said "Yeeeeah right!" and threw it out.

This'll meet the same fate.

Which side of the river for KC? There's Kansas City KANSAS and Kansas City, Missouri (where yours truly was borned), so you might be able to slide on a technicality. :)

Hm. True. I do believe it's KC, Missouri. It's ConQuest, out at the Airport Hilton.
