The trampling is inexcusable. Peaceful protesters should be allowed to shout and carry their signs undisturbed. Violent protesters who throw rocks, or attempt to force their way into gatherings which are not open to the public, should be shot. 100% tolerance for protest, 0% tolerance for violence.
