Are you using ULead DVD Movie Factory? If so a few others have had issue with it and XP. Two things I noted were that if you're burning a disk and your virtual memory is set too low that could be a problem, also Norton, if you have it could be causing problems if it's activated while you burn. Just some thoughts.
