Heyyo, what kind of spyware/malware protection are you running? Getting rid of that crap is what I do for a living, and I've got some good stuff I can let you have.

Dear old AVG. Running AVG and/or F-Prot in Safe Mode kills ISTBars dead. But hey, I'm always up for good progs.

Cool. AVG is great for anti-virus, but it is barely any protection at all against spyware. I'll try to get you a package together and send it to you tomorrow from work -- I have some bandwidth there.

One thing you may want to grab would be SpyBot - Search & Destroy, one of the six programs I tend to use there. It's free software, so you may want to go ahead and grab it, then run a scan. You might be surprised -- if AVG's all you're running right now, it will probably find something. Please let me know.
