According to Rick Santorum, two things are responsible for the Catholic priest sex scandal: Boston and liberals. No, really.

"When the culture is sick, every element in it becomes infected. While it is no excuse for this scandal, it is no surprise that Boston, a seat of academic, political and cultural liberalism in America, lies at the center of the storm."

Santorum's office then clarified the issue, saying that what the senator really meant to say was that three things, not two, were responsible: Boston, liberals and MIT.

"It's an open secret that you have Harvard University and MIT that tend to tilt to the left in terms of academic biases," said Robert Traynham, Santorum's aide. ''I think that's what the senator was speaking to."

Boston's mayor, Tom Menino, replied "Typical of the guy who doesn't understand the issue, doesn't understand the Catholicism. He should come up to Boston and see what it's all about. Maybe we'll send a welcome wagon to get him."

You do that, mayor Menino. Send a welcome wagon and don't forget the tar, feathers and a pair of steel toed boots to kick this moron's bollocks up through his teeth - then leave him in Boston's infamous "Combat Zone" wearing nothing but a "I Heart David Duke" tshirt and a pair of tighty whiteys.

Just don't forget to tape the ensuing fun and send me a copy of the tape.

My oldest son is at RPI on a $60K scholarship (Astro Physics major, 3rd year in the fall)& if he does their accelerated PHD program, his last 3 years are free.....my younger son (HS senior in the fall) just got offered a similar scholarship from them plus their Legacy scholarship which would reduce both their tuitions.......

*neener,neener*

*Runs back to work to cover the other $5000- a semester in tuition that the scholarship, grants & student loans aren't covering ;p

Teehee!

Depending on the job, I'm thinking the RPI degree holds more sway than the "got to sleep with the cute nerds at RPI." thing!

I'm just sayin'! ;)
