I'm going to step away from the computer for a few hours before I reach through the screen and strangle the next purblind moron who (a) tries to sit up there in their goddamned ivory tower and shovel some bullshit at me about not "playing the blame game", (b) is some neo-con pile of filth (redundant, I know) who tries to convince the entire fucking world just what a swell job Dubya and his Far Right Freakshow are doing with the disaster response or
(c) I end up throwing my computer through a wall from a combination of either of the previous two.

It's funny. I HALF agree with it. Personally I feel we need to stop pointing fingers and playing that (not-gunna-say-it), and every hand pitches in to help. Get everyone fucking down there with a bucket to dump over a levee if they have to. Then when it's done, try the fuckers for crimes of not doing their jobs, Fine them, let them pay bigass fines and kick them the fuck out of their jobs... But I'm all for that LATER. not now.

The other half makes me think that if it doesn't get done now, it won't ever get done. (has everyone been prosecuted for ENRON?) yet they give Martha Stewart a speedy trial. LOL
