WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Rep. Tom DeLay went on the attack after his indictment on a conspiracy charge, blasting a Texas prosecutor and rejecting the allegation that forced him to give up the House leadership as "blatant political partisanship."

I've got one word for ya, Hammer: Whitewater. I don't want to hear about political partisanship from a man who raised political partisanship to an
art form. You are a bully, an influence peddling thug, and an embarrassment to humanity. I doubt it will happen, but I hope you end up in a cell with a mentally imbalanced man named Bubba who buggers you on the hour, every hour. I mean, why not? You've been buggering the people of the United States from day one of your politicial career.

If you think I'm making this up, go here and real all about this filthy sack of offal.

Whitewater was pushed by Janet Reno...Clinton's own Attorney General. And before you start blaming Starr, Starr *repeatedly* asked Reno to be removed from the case, and was told by Reno to continue and pursue.

Oh, never mind. The facts are only valid when they support Democratic ends. It's ok when Democrats do it, but not Republicans.

It's ugly period. Regardless of who does it. And all you're doing is continuing the ugliness.

Dammit, Gundo, it does not change the blistering irony of DeLay crying partisanhip when he and his ilk define the damn word.

And Schumer, Biden, and Feinstein didn't practice it with one standard for Bader Ginsberg and one for Roberts? Sorry...that term cuts on both sides of the aisle. Nobody's lily-white here.

Funny how Pelosi stopped crying "travel abuse" when it was discovered that she could be caught in the same net she was casting for DeLay.

Both parties do it. Period.

I'm talking about DeLay here, not Pelosi or who the hell ever. Just because somebody else does it to doesn't let DeLay off the hook. That rotten bastard is reaping some very ripe karma, and it couldn't be happening to a nicer guy.

Furthermore, I defy you to go to that link, read what it has to say about DeLay, look me square in the eye and tell me he isn't scum on two legs.

While I'm at it, please spare me the whole drivel about "it's okay when Democrats do it". I never said it was. But I dare you to sit there and tell me with your bare face hanging that the persecution of Bill Clinton (which he served up to them on a silver platter) wasn't partisan politics at it's most grandiose. I mention this merely to point up that for Tom DeLay to be whining about partisan politics is sort of like Lucretia Borgia complaining about poison.

Persecution? Oh, please...

No...for any politician to be whining about partisan politics is nuts at this point.

What I'm tired of is a one-sided standard. Which is what you are practicing, IMO.
