What miserable filth like Tom DeLay and the band of warmongers, liars and thugs currently squatting like malevolent toads in the halls of power are doing to the good and honorable name of the Republican party and conservatism in general absolutely sickens me. That is what I have made my mission to rail against, and it's a mission I happen to enjoy the pure bejesus out of.

I wish more people realized how far the Republican party has been pulled from "the party of Lincoln" - I'd feel a lot more like "reaching across the aisle in friendship" then. Bless you for not just knowing but stating that is IS possible to be both Liberal and Republican - it just doesn't seem to be very common any more.

Seriously, though... Delay needs to be run out of town on a flaming rail, but the Texas prosecuter who brought the charges has himself been accused of using his post for partisan ends. If He is investigated, and it's proven that he's using his position that way, it could ruin chances for a full conviction of Delay...
