1985
Much of the heavy rotation stack was pop crap, the same overplayed tracks every commercial station was beating to a worn out mushy perfectly compressed pulp. Bananarama's Venus is a perfect example. Perhaps in retaliation against that I developed a taste for Def Leopard, Whitesnake, Poison and Europe on one side, Morrissey and New Order and Edie Brickell and the Beastie Boys and Sheena Easton on several others.
"Come spend the night inside my sugar walls." -- Sheena E
"Tell Doctor-Q everything from the start." -- Stacey Q
"Your cash and your jewelry is what I expect." -- Mike D
"I used to think that the day would never come that my life would depend on the morning sun." -- New Order
