a very long time ago on a Disney animation special I heard this song. o/~ You're living in a dream world baby, you'd better run away~\o is the only lyric that I remember clearly. I want to say it was Eddie Money but can't confirm. The animation was a bunch of centaurs.

In 1985 I returned from touring the Eastern Bloc with the SF Boys Chorus. Later that year I learned of the high school radio station and quickly made that and its associated club a big part of my daily life. It kept me out of the hallways and away from the constant taunts.

Much of the heavy rotation stack was pop crap, the same overplayed tracks every commercial station was beating to a worn out mushy perfectly compressed pulp. Bananarama's Venus is a perfect example. Perhaps in retaliation against that I developed a taste for Def Leopard, Whitesnake, Poison and Europe on one side, Morrissey and New Order and Edie Brickell and the Beastie Boys and Sheena Easton on several others.

I love pretty much all the 80's music even the pop crap...
